Additional information

Depending on the nature of activity and/or level of assessment required, additional documents may be sought by the competent authority. The list of activities and projects for which Competent Authorities may screen and issue Environmental Clearance is attached for reference. Accordingly, EC payment notification should be obtained from the respective authority. For instance, for constructing hotels and resorts, EC will be issued by the District Environment Committee. Hence the payment has to be routed through the Revenue Section of the District Administration office.
